Bought this a last week. Been looking for this everywhere. Since I couldn't find it in any of my local Superdrug, I ended up finding it in Manchester Arndale. Finally, dragging my boyfriend to ever Superdrug store was worth it.
About Make Up Academy (MUA):
It is a UK brand which has been launched since 2010. They are not a very know brand outside the UK but more and more people are getting to know about them each day through bloggers. Their products are known to be high quality and VERY affordable. Yes I'm emphasising the very since it is true. Within MUA, there are two ranges: MUA and MUA Professional.
Within MUA range, all the products are £1 ($1.50). Yes you've read it right! Eyeshadows, lipsticks, blushers, bronzers, mascara, nail varnish, lipgloss, eyeliner, eye glitter and eye dust, each £1. All have a wide range of shades to choose from.
Within the MUA Professional, the price ranges from £1.50 - £4 ($2.35 - $6.29). This is a more developed range where they have released eyeshadow palettes, mosaic bronzers and blushes, foundation, primers, mascara, shatter nail varnish.
See what I mean by A F F O R D A B L E?! Won't break your bank! These products have been compared to MAC, Urban Decay etc.
Now onto the review. This is the Heaven and Earth palette from the MUA Pro range:

Review: To be honest, where do I begin? These are one of the best eyeshadow palettes I have purchased. There are other palettes but I'd picked this one up because who doesn't love neutral colours suited for everyday use? First thought was how it had reminded me of the Urban Decay Naked Eye palette.
As you can see, they are pigmented from the first swipe. However, with one of the shades, you need two swipes which was the bottom row, last shade. That shade is more glittery compared to the rest which are shimmer, frosty shades. They aren't too shimmery or frosty making it unwearable during the day. They have the right amount. If you're a matte type of person then I'd stay away from this but to be honest, who doesn't like a little bit of sparkle to the eye? With this palette, you have 3 highlighter shades, a range of browns, fawn, taupes, with coppers and gold. Great range of neutral colours to suit every eye colour. Each colour is buildable. Using an eyeshadow primer would bring out the best of these.
You can wear it for any occasion, a transformation from day to night if you don't have time to redo your make up. It'll only take a small room in your bag so it is portable. I've used this palette everyday as there is a shade for every mood. Since it's been such a hot day for the past week in the UK, the eyeshadow has lasted near enough all day but I did require a slight touch up once since I have really oily eyelids and I was sweating. Lovely to know that right? Lol. The quality is soft to touch and easy to apply with fingers if you're in a hurry. I've used my own brushes and the eyeshadows apply evenly and very easily blendable.
I've just given this an overall rating of 5/5 since it's perfect and everyone needs this palette in their makeup collection. There's much more to say about this but I'd probably be repeating myself over and over again.
They are expanding every minute and are currently developing a website where you can order their products and they'll be able to ship outside the UK! So non UKers, watch out for them!

[HAUL + OOTD] Transition to Autumn
British weather is really unpredictable. Supposedly this week we're having a heat wave and its then end of summer as well. However, it has been a nice day for the past two days. Been at university for over a week and had done a mini haul to get myself ready for autumn. I've ordered a few things online for my costume that I'm going to make ready for Saturday night. So will post what I wore that night.
Boatneck knit top from Primark:
It's meant to be peach but this picture doesn't do justice. The front is holey. I guess that is the best way to decribe it. Could wear it as over the shoulder if I got a larger size.
Belted mac coat from New Look:
They had this in many colours, black, hot dusty pink, mustard yellow, beige, burnt orange but I fell in love with this dark turquoise colour. Perfect for autumn when it's not hot or cold.
Vest top from H&M:
It's meant to be dusty pink, then again, the picture doesn't do justice. Love how the back is longer than the front. Guess that's in this season?
This is what I wore to university today:
Peach knit top from Primark
Plain white vest top from HK
Black leggings from Primark
Tan gladiator wedge sandals from Primark
Got a review lined up! Nearly finished so hopefully will post it in a few days. Hope everyone is studying hard! ;).

Curling: ♥♥♥♥♥
Long Lasting: ♥♥♥♥♥
Overall Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
Review: I really like this mascara! I bought this since I've read so many positive reviews for its volumising feature. This mascara claims to give up to 7 times more volume. I'm not sure about the 7 times more volume but this did volume my lashes. This also lengthens. Not dramatically lengthens but a noticeable length. 2 in 1 bonus! I had purchased this in Glam Black which is the blackest black and has a glossy finish.
After the first stroke, I could start seeing results straight away and that it had made my lashes more visible. After the second and third stroke, it did start to clump. But from the images, you could see that it had lengthened but stuck my lashes together. The brush is big however, it isn't really good at separating lashes. I did find that it didn't give an even coat of mascara on every lash. You could see lashes mostly clumped at the end of the lashes and there are clumps of mascara placed in random areas of my lashes. It did thicken my lashes but in the wrong way. This is why I'd give it a 3/5 overall rating. If it didn't clump, I probably would have given it 4/5.
I did get a sticky feeling from it. Not sure how to describe it but if I apply this to the top and bottom lashes, when I blink, the top and bottom lashes would somehow stick together during the whole day which is a pain. It didn't weigh my lashes down and did hold the curl. At the end of the day, I do find that this mascara flakes. I'd find bits under my eye and gives me a panda eyed look.
I would repurchase this for the time being until I find a better volumising mascara but wouldn't apply it to both top and bottom of my lashes.

[EYELINER] Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner - Is This Normal?
Just a very quick update! Will blog properly from tomorrow as I'm moving back to university tomorrow and been very busy these days.
Bought the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black a few months ago. First time using it, it came out very black. Now it is all watery even after I've shaken it. Even shook it vigorously. It's suppose to be blackest black and it's not even black. :S. Only had it for a few months. Has it happened to you before? Wasted money on it now. =.=. Below is a picture. This is after a few strokes of the eyeliner. Threw it away now.
This is the eyeliner:
Has it happened to you?
Also my giveaway is closed! Thank you guys for entering. Will post the winner in a few days once I've settled in university. Thank you for still supporting me. Got reviews, swatches and tutorials lined up!

[NEWS] Dior Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches
Wait, eyeliner patches? Yes you read it right. Dior launches Velvet Eyes which is limited edition stick on eyeliner. For a hefty price of $59.
What it does:
Designed by Dior makeup artists, the results of these velvet eyeliner appliqués are spectacular. Like a sticker or transfer tattoo, the designs range from the simplest matte-black to the most lavish, lacquered finish bedecked with sparkling Swarovski crystals.
These adjustable, multipurpose patches are comfortable and easy to apply. Expertly designed and adaptable to every eye shape, they can be applied to the eyelids and to the base of the lashes. Included in a sleek Dior sleeve is a sheet of eyeliners to be applied onto the eyelid.
I've also read somewhere that it is reuseable too! I'm not sure when it's going to launched in the UK. Link to Sephora is here. This isn't the first I've heard of stick on eyeliner. The Japanese had created eyeliner tape which is the same innovation as this ages ago and is only sold in Japan, probably in other eastern countries too.
