[MY LOOKS] Very Minimal Everyday Makeup Look

To be honest, I hardly wear a lot of makeup. Main reason is because I'm lazy. Haha. So this is my look which is like everday and doesn't take me that long to do. Consists of:
Face:
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent
Bourjois Blush in 54 Rose Frisson

Eyes:
GOSH Extreme Art Eyeliner in 07 Black
False Eyelashes

Lips:
Lip balm/Vaseline

Mattify the face, add a bit of colour to my cheeks, line the top lashes, falsies then use lip balm/Vaseline to keep lips moist. :)
You can still see my under eye circles, bags, spots etc.

What does your minimal makeup consist of?

[HAIR] Dying My Hair, Roots

Remember a few posts back that I stated that I was going to re-dye my hair on Sunday? Well, I actually did it today. Heres the before picture from that post with flash:

^Superdrug Colour Performance Permanent in lightest beige blonde

^Gloves, Intensive Colour Conditioner, Creme Colour, Bottle of Creme Developer and Instructions.
Empty the creme colour into the cream developer and shake until mixture is thoroughly mixed together.

^Spread evenly all over the head and leave it in for 30 minutes. Wash dye off throughly, shampoo, then intensive colour conditioner and blowdry.

^After picture. Bye bye roots! ^^ With flash.

^Without flash. Colour is even and it looks a little bit lighter overall. :)

[SWATCHES + REVIEW] Fraulein38 120 Eyeshadow Palette

Fraulein38 120 Eyeshadow Palette

Long Lasting:

Review: Remember the last haul post? It was a while ago though. This can be known as the Manly 120 Eyeshadow Palette, it does look similar to the Coastal Scents eyeshadow palette. Fraulein38, Coastal Scents etc sells products that are from the same factory/company. The only difference is that they put their own brand name on it.

When I recieved this, 3 eyeshadows are broken, however, I wasn't sad about this as there are 117 other colours to use and the colours are similar to each other. These are very pigmented so this palette will last you ages! You get a great range of colours in both matte and shimmers. This palette is like a rainbow, you get great shades and is suitable for any occasion. It can easily transform a normal day look to a sexy night look. This is a great alternative to other high branded eyeshadows. Also contains neutrals, greys and blacks.

When I used this first time on one of my EOTN looks, this eyeshadow had lasted and stayed even in the sweaty clubbing conditions.  This is a good quality palette. I think it's better than drugstore brands and some may say its not as good as high brands but it's up there. The packaging is so compact so you can carry this anywhere, everywhere and it's easy to clean. I bought this for £10 and it's worth every penny! The only thing I don't like about it is that it's very soft and can easily break.

[ETC + REVIEW] Selling Sleek Eyeshadow Palettes in the Future? NEED FEEDBACK

Hey guys!
So I've been chatting to fellow bloggers and recieved emails and a lot of them want to try out the Sleek eyeshadow palettes. I was thinking since I live in the UK, I can easily access these without a problem while people who live internationally have trouble finding them and the shipping is expensive.

I can get them in the following palettes:
Original:

Storm:

Sunset:

Acid:

Chaos:

Bohemian:

Some of these are limited edition.

I was thinking of selling them around $17 (USD) each and that includes shipping! I will ship internationally everywhere!

What do you guys think?
Who would want to purchase one?

If I do get a lot of feedback about this, I will start doing this in batches of 10.

FEEDBACK GUYS! :)
Thank You :)

Review: To be honest, where do I begin? These are one of the best eyeshadow palettes I have purchased. There are other palettes and I'd picked this one up because the bright colours had attracted me to it and how often do you see neon eyeshadows?

These are very pigmented. One swipe of the eyeshadow and voila! Hello colour! These are so pigmented that if you use an eyeshadow primer, it'll be even more brighter and longer lasting. An eyeshadow primer isn't really necessary but it maybe needed for some people as it may crease. I haven't experience this yet. The eyeshadow can be easily removed without a problem.

This eyeshadow is very soft and can easily break, so be careful with them. The palette looks a tad creamy even though its pressed powdered. These are easy to apply onto the eyelid. It doesn't drag however, it can be a little messy. The applicator you get with it is not good, so it's best to use your own plus the applicator can easily break as its cheap.

You get a range of colours, a mixture of mattes and shimmers. Not all Sleek eyeshadow palettes are a mixture of mattes and shimmers. For this palette, its not suitable for everyday wear unless you're one daring person. This is great for night outs, especially themed ones. The amount of eyeshadow you get for the price is amazing!

The overall rating I gave was a 4 as many people may not be able to find these, especially if you're not form the UK. These are only released in the UK, France and somewhere else too. Even some people in the UK may have trouble finding this as this is only available in selected Superdrugs.

[HOTD] Japanese Style Bun and Roots

I didnt style my hair as I wasn't going out. Haven't been out for the past week. Stayed in to study as those who followed my twitter, had saw a lot of tweets of my studying hours, work, stress etc haha. It'll be like this until 4th June when my last exam finishes. I did post an advance apology on my twitter:
"would like to apologise in advance for my foul language on twitter/fb/in person (may bite your head off)/txt etc from now til 4th june".
Yep, I'm under a lot of stress at the moment. :'(

I remember seeing this style in a Japanese magazine and thought I'd try it out. Tried to get it at all angles but getting a picture from the back was the hardest. This is a different type of bun than I did in a past HOTD. Pictures and please excuse my roots:

^Only took a side profile as I had no makeup on and I was breaking out a hell of a lot due to stress. >< Looks like im wearing one of them hair bun wigs due to my roots. Haha

Roots:

If you follow my twitter, you know that I posted this picture a few days ago and said it was 2 inches worth of roots. Yes, I did actaully measure it. Haha. I'll be redying it on Sunday, so I will do a post on before and after pictures as well as the process. xD So this week, I'm being extra nice to my hair. Not using any heat tools or products, just shampoo, condition and air-dry. xD Then dye it on Sunday before third semester of university officially starts and exams ruin my life.

[HAIR] An Introduction to My Hair :)

People have been requesting a lot to do more posts about my hair. I'll try. xD
So decided that my first post about my hair would be about it. :P

My Hair Stats
Type: Oily but sometimes combination
Length: Long (below my boobs xD)
Style: Not all one length yet not properly layered. Bangs/fringe
Natural Style (without styling): Flat, Straight but flicks at the ends
Current Colour: Brown, erm a caramel brown

This is what my hair looks like when it is air-dried (taken a few minutes ago xD):

No volume what so ever, lifeless, straight bangs. Hate it.

This is what my hair looks like when styled:

Volumised, curled bangs. Love it.

A better way to describe my hair colour is a picture:

On the left. A caramel brown in natural lighting. :)

Hope this helps! More posts on hair in the future! :)

[SKIN] My Skin Care Routine

Skin Type:
Combination - Oily Skin, prone to spots.
Very oily T-Zone and the nose and cheeks can sometimes be dry depending on the weather.

Morning Routine (Used every morning):
Facial Wash:

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
I use this to control my spot breakouts and it actually does the job as it contains tea tree oil which is the key to combating those spots. It removes the excess oil on my face and doesn't over dry my skin. My skin doesn't get as oily.

Toner:

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Triple Action Lotion
It removes the excess dirt and oils and you can see them when you use a cotton bud or wool. It has a slight tingle sensation which I think is quite nice and it closes my pores. It doesn't dry my face out and it does combat spots.

Moisturiser:

Garnier Pure A Daily Treatment Moisturiser
This will clear imperfections as it contains salicylic acid and zinc. This is a great moisturiser, not only it combats the spots, it also moisturises the skin leaving it feeling soft.

Eye Gel:

Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Gel
The packaging has changed. The picture on the right is the correct packaging. This leaves a cooling sensation which reduces the puffy eyes. It's great at hydrating the sensitive eye area. It contains vitamins as well as cooling cucumber. I use my ring finger to gently apply this.

Night Routine (Used every night except Wednesdays):
Make Up Removers:

Normal facial wipes or I use the Superdrug Tea Tree Sensitive Cleansing Lotion
I use either one depending on my mood. Using facial wipes are quick and easy but it doesn't remove the makeup which maybe stuck in the pores.
The cleansing lotion, not sure if it's still available, contains tea trea oil and aloe vera extracts. This is non greasy and the tea tree oil and aloe vera combination is great! This removes makeup better than the facial wipes in my opinion.

Night Facial Wash:

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub
This contains microbeads which arn't harsh to the skin. It is creamy and it does unclog my pores, removing trap dirt, oil and makeup. It also controls my spot breakouts. Blackheads are less visible and it doesn't make my skin tight.

Toner:

Same as above.

Moisturiser:

Garnier Pure A Intensive Night Treatment Gel
This is the same as Garnier Pure A Daily Treatment Moisturiser but in a gel texture. It is non greasy.

Spots:

The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Gel
I only use this if I have big spots on my face. I apply this after I have moisturised. It is a wand and contains tea tree oil which is great at combating spots. When I use this, the spot does decrease in size but it doesn't fully go away. Simple, easy to use and compact!

Eye Gel:

Garnier Nutritionist Caffine Eye Roll-On
This is great at de-puffing them eyes as the metal ball on it massages the area with the cooling liquid. I can feel the cooling sensation and is great for moisturising. But I never use it in the morning as it emphasises my under eye dark circles and makes them more visible.

Wednesday Night Routine:
I only use this routine every Wednesday night. I do not use any of the products mentioned above.

Exfoliating:

Sea Salt
It is cheap and can be purchased anywhere. It is great at removing the dead skin, leaving the skin soft.
But, DO NOT use this if you have dry or sensitive skin as it is harsh and will dry out your skin a lot more. A great alternative is sugar. I would say this is best for very oily skin. This can still be very drying and tight on your skin.

Directions:
Mix a teaspoon of sea salt/sugar  with a f ew drops of water. Gently use it to exfoliate the skin in circular motions.

Moisturiser:

Bio-Oil
I use this straight after the sea salt exfoliation. This contains natural ingredients and I use this only to deep moisturise my skin. 2-3 drops is enough for the whole face as I use it as a massaging oil. This doesn't break me out which suprises me.
I love using this as it is relaxing to massage with and my face is really hydrated. Usually, when my cheeks and nose are really dry, using make up can emphasis the dryness. After using this, I don't have the dry areas any more and the makeup application is smooth.

Masks:
I use masks every sunday as it's the only time i have mostly free and is really relaxing.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
This is great for my skin especially spots. It combats the spots, doesn't get rid of the in the duration of the mask relax time. It stays wet and doesn't dry. Made my skin softer and controls oil. Can be easily washed and it's bright green!

Long post ey? I don't have perfect skin but I do take care of it. Remember, results vary on every person. What works on me may not work on others.
